About Jasmine

Jasmine Cooper is a multimedia producer with over 3 years of experience. Her latest reports have appeared on the DePaul University's award-winning campus television news show Good Day DePaul. She is also a producer for the show as well. Before this, Jasmine worked for WHLT 22 in Hattiesburg, Miss. At this CBS affiliate, she edited, shot and wrote commercials for the news station. 


RADIO
In 2008, Jasmine began her career in radio at The University of Southern Mississippi. There, she worked at WUSM for four years as a anchor, producer and writer for various shows. She also has interned for WMXI 98.1 FM in Hattiesburg, MS and WGN Radio in Chicago, IL. Currently, she works for WGN radio as a part time producer for Steve Dale's World and The Sunday Spin. She also a content producer for WGN Plus. 


VOICE OVER ARTIST
Jasmine has done numerous local and national commercials thought her career for several different companies including McDonalds, Liberty Tax and more. 


EDUCATION
Jasmine received her Bachelor’s degree from University of Southern Mississippi with a double major in Broadcast Journalism & Communication Studies in May 2012. Jasmine is currently pursing her degree at DePaul University with a concentration in multimedia journalism.
